Backing up your files

Surprisingly most computer users don’t backup any of their data, the same goes with a lot of Irish businesses and they will be most likely invest heavily in recovery solutions after they do lose something, its crazy I know. But for most home users I come across it’s their photos and a few documents they want, and there could be a few thousand photographs.

“But I’m careful with my computer”, well you might take good care of your PC but it doesn’t prevent unintentionally losing files, a power surge, lightning, floods. And sometimes equipment just fails.

The simplest way for anyone to backup important data is to do a copy backup, if you have a pen drive or an external hard drive attached to your PC just copy your data and paste it into the drive. Or you can copy your files to a dvd-r and put away for safe keeping.
